Geocaching Adventure Challenge Coins

The Cameron County Chamber of Commerce & Artisan Center is now a proud participant in the Allegheny National Forest (ANF) Centennial Geocache Challenge—and they’ve got the coins to prove it! A limited number of commemorative geocoins are available at the Chamber office for those who complete the trail.

The challenge encourages participants to explore the beauty and history of the ANF by locating 28 hidden geocaches across Elk, Forest, McKean, and Warren counties. To earn a reward, adventurers must find five official “ANF” geocaches in each of the four counties (20 total) and log their progress on a special ANF Centennial GeoTrail Passport.

Passports are available for pickup at the Chamber office or online at www.geocaching.com. After completing the trail, return your filled-out passport to any ANF office or the Chamber to receive a handcrafted black cherry wood coaster and a collectible ANF trackable token—while supplies last.

The challenge is free to join and was created in partnership with Penn Soil RC&D and local tourism bureaus. Whether you’re an experienced geocacher or a curious beginner, it’s a fun way to celebrate 100 years of outdoor heritage in our region.
