Emporium Beverage Center will officially open this Saturday at 11 a.m., bringing a much-anticipated beverage distributor back to Emporium. The new business is owned by Scott McCann of Emporium Food Mart, and will be managed by his son Wyatt, along with Scott’s wife Michele. The three plan to run the operation themselves during the slower winter months, with plans to consider hiring additional employees once spring arrives. The opening will be a soft opening, with a grand opening planned for the spring, and inventory is expected to begin arriving in the coming days.
