It’s football season in Cameron County, and the Red Raider spirit is on display throughout downtown Emporium. Community volunteers recently gathered to place the Cameron County High School Red Raider spirit flags along the downtown streets. The flags and poles were purchased in the spring of 2018 through a partnership between the Sylvan Heritage Council and various school booster organizations. The flags are flown downtown during football season and other school-related events as a way to show community support for Cameron County students and athletes.
