DRIFTWOOD SR. CENTER NEWS
The Driftwood Senior would like to send a huge Thank You to the May Hollow Sportsmen’s Club and the Sinnemahoning Sportsmen’s Club. Both of these clubs just sent us a generous donation and it is greatly appreciated. It shows true sportsmanship and these funds will be used to help our seniors in Driftwood and surrounding areas.
We sincerely Thank You for thinking of us.
We will be having a food truck picnic on Friday, August 15th. Smitty’s Eat-N-Shack will be at the center with their wonderful Cheese Steak Hoagies, Hot Sausage, Pork Sandwiches and more. There will be a very special dessert that will consist of a Sundae Bar! You pay the food truck and we will provide the dessert!
Come on out and enjoy some good friends, good food and more! We will be starting at noon with the food truck available from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. All are welcome and we hope to see you there. R.S.V.P. is appreciated but not required.
We now are open on Sunday mornings from 7:30 a.m. for breakfast. We offer a complete breakfast menu and everyone seems to be enjoying it. Stop in and try us out for a hot breakfast. All are welcome and you don’t have to be a resident or a Senior.
The Cameron County Food Distribution Day for August is Tuesday, August 19th. Please mark this date and be prepared to pick up your food. Please remember this date and mark your calendar if you are already receiving. If you would like to pick up your boxes at the Driftwood Senior Center, please call to make arrangements.
